Hot Hotel! Jonathan Adler Makes Over a Palm Beach Spot

Camping out inside one of Jonathan Adler’s cheerful stores is sadly not encouraged, which is why staying a night at Florida’s Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa is pretty much the next best thing. The home decor expert refurbished the hotel’s 309 rooms (rates start at $299/night)with his signature flourishes, and they are finally ready for visitors starting this month.

“I adore blue, yellow, and white, because that’s what vacation should be: sea, sun, and sky,” he told InStyle of his colorful inspiration for the sunny spot. The good news is you can bring the vacation home to you: The accent pieces below are used throughout the resort and are all available at jonathanadler.com.

1. Bright Light

“Lamps should always be a little bigger than you think you need and a little more expensive than you think you can afford,” Adler said of this turquoise and yellow porcelain table lamp ($995). “They offer bold punctuations—go a little bolder than you think.”

2. Arftul Vase

Adler suggests arranging this Lucite table topper ($98) with only one type of flower. “That’s my floral philosophy, and of course I have one!” he said.

3. Luxe Cushions

“Your rooms need some gems and sparkle,” says Adler of this plush magenta needlepoint cushion ($245) and decorative beaded linen pillow ($120). “They’re like jewelry for your house.”

4. Cheeky Mugs

“As a guest, this would make me smile, and that’s what I want people to do,” Adler says of these playful reversible mugs ($24) that feature a mustache on the front and lips on the back.

5. Colorful Books

Each room is stocked with several of his books, including Happy Chic Colors ($17.95). “This one in particular is very Palm Beach-y and happy,” he said.
