Want to dress like an off-duty model while doing some good too? Well, though she appears fierce and fearsome on The Face, supermodel Naomi Campbell proves she has a softer side, organizing a pop-up shop which will be open on Nov. 28 in London’s Westfield shopping center. Running for one week, all proceeds from the shop will be going to Ebola prevention and education in West Africa.
Among the “hundreds of items” on sale will be several of Naomi’s own gently-used designer clothes, along with a selection of brand-new designer clothes at “accessible” prices. She’s also persuaded famous mates like Kate Moss to similarly clean out their closets.RELATED: One Direction, Rita Ora, Bono, and More Re-Record “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” to Fight Ebola
The shop is part of Campbell’s Fashion for Relief foundation, which has previously raised money for victims of Hurricane Katrina, the Haiti earthquake, and the Japanese earthquake and tsunami. “I’m thrilled to return to Westfield London to launch the Fashion For Relief pop-up store,” Campbell said. “Raising awareness for Ebola and educating about its prevention is crucial to help prevent the spread of this deadly disease.”
