So this is love! Newlyweds Lauren Conrad and William Tell showed off their wedding bands over the weekend at the Fifth Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in Los Angeles—where the couple simply glowed with post-honeymoon happiness.
The duo color-coordinated in polo-appropriate looks and shared plenty of cute moments at the event, which was held at Will Rogers State Historic Park.
At the end of the match, they participated in the customary divot stomp while laughing with each other. The outing was Mr. and Mrs. Tell’s first public appearance since they tied the knot just last month in a romantic wedding ceremony.RELATED: See Lauren Conrad’s Wedding Dress
Several other Hollywood pairs stepped out to watch the competition in style, including Christina Hendricks and Geoffrey Arend, Rachel Zoe and Rodger Berman, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Justin Mikita.
It was an extra-special occasion for Hendricks and Arend, as the day marked their five-year wedding anniversary. “It’s a perfect way to celebrate,” Hendricks tells InStyle. “I have never been to a polo match. It seems so exotic to me. I’m very excited—it just seems like something out of a movie.” The Mad Men star even got the honor of kicking off the days festivities, as she threw the ceremonial ball toss before the start of the match between Team Veuve Clicquot and Team Black Watch.

Hendricks looked incredible in an snowy Giorgio Armani suit, Tory Burch shoes, and a Vince Camuto clutch as she sipped champagne with her husband. “There aren’t that many events that a white suit is perfect for, and this is the absolute appropriate place to wear it,” Hendricks says. “So I had to take advantage of that.”
Zoe, who was très chic an ivory design from her own collection, made the day one for her whole clan. “Our family loves watching polo,” Zoe tells InStyle. “I have hopes that my son Skyler will one day be a polo player. He loves it!”
