Looks like Lottie Moss really is following in big sister Kate Moss’s footsteps! The budding model just landed a gig as the face of Calvin Klein Jeans x mytheresa.com’s The Re-Issue Project, an exclusive capsule collection featuring modern recreations of the brand’s classic styles. Longtime Calvin Klein muse Kate, 40, has starred in multiple ad campaigns for the label.
And now Lottie, 16, is trying her hand at it.Photographed by Michael Avedon (the grandson of Richard Avedon, who shot the groundbreaking 1981 Calvin Klein Jeans campaign featuring Brooke Shields), the ads feature the younger Moss in a series of stunning black-and-white portraits showcasing key pieces from the line. The campaign is meant as a retrospective and throwback to the CK Jeans images of years past.
The women’s nine-piece capsule collection features modernized, limited-edition versions of the brand’s most iconic pieces. Designed by Global Creative Director Kevin Carrigan, the archival styles will be offered in multiple colors. “This Calvin Klein Jeans capsule is all about a nostalgia for the ’90s and that whole look feeling very right again,” Carrigan says in a statement. “It now feels like the perfect time to re-issue the brand’s iconic hits to a new generation.”
Included in The Re-Issue Project are updated styles of the original high-waisted skinny jeans popularized by Shields in the ’80s, the classic tapered boyfriend jeans worn by the older Moss in the ’90s, as well as the brand’s popular “cK” sweatshirts and T-shirts. Essential Calvin Klein Jeans denim jackets and shirts in washes ranging from pale ice to stone grey round out the line.
Pieces from Calvin Klein Jeans x mytheresa.com The Re-Issue Project ($105 to $415) will be available at mytheresa.com from July 16.
