Kerry Washington’s got a new gig: fashion designer! The new mom and Emmy award–winning actress is launching a 42-piece collection of original fashion inspired by the iconic style of Scandal’s protagonist, Olivia Pope, in partnership with costume designer Lyn Paolo and The Limited.
Considering our obsession with Washington’s flawless style—both on the red carpet and on the show—we couldn’t be more excited about this news.
Not only is it Washington’s and Paolo’s first collaboration on a clothing line, but it also marks the first-ever design collaboration by a national retailer, a TV series, the show’s costume designer, and its leading star.“By creating a line inspired by the show, we are introducing a collection that embodies the elegance and power of the Scandal aesthetic for real-life gladiators and everyday fashionistas,” Washington says. “The collection is a nod to our devoted fans, to fans of fashion, and to women everywhere who are inspired to boldly pursue their passions and look good while doing it.”
The Scandal collection will include separates, including tops, pants, jackets, and outerwear with prices beginning at $49 and will be available this fall.
