Jennifer Lopez chose Neil Lane jewels to accent her princess-like Elie Saab ball gown (above). Lopez, presented the award for achievement in costume design, threw on a 20-carat diamond drop earrings, a diamond and platinum solitaire ring, and a diamond and platinum fancy brown ring.
The grand total? A whopping $2.5 million.Nicole Kidman added more than $7 million worth of Harry Winston diamonds to her belted Louis Vuitton dress (above). Rita Ora graced the carpet (prior to her killer performance) in more than $7.5 million worth of Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. Ora clipped on a pair of 40-carat Victorian-inspired diamond pear-shaped chandelier earrings—a set that complemented her dramatic Marchesa gown beautifully. Ora didn’t stop there: a 25-carat champagne and diamond pear-shape ring finished off her red-carpet look.
Fifty Shades of Gray star Dakota Johnson arrived at the Oscars (with her mother, Melanie Griffith!) in 100 carats of ForeverMark diamonds. To balance out the ornate jeweled and knotted one-shoulder strap of her Saint Laurent column, the actresses piled on a slew of bracelets. A 23-carat piece with cushion-cut diamonds, a 28-carat line style with round brilliant diamonds, and a three-row bracelet also with round brilliant diamonds added up to be a very glitzy arm party.
Last, but certainly not least, Johnson pulled her hair up into a casual-chic pony, which showed off her 10-carat diamond earrings. The actress’s jewels ranked in at $2.2 million!PHOTOS: See All the Oscars 2015 Red Carpet Arrivals
