Essie Vending Machines Are Coming to an Airport Near You!

As if we needed another excuse to feed our manicure addiction, Essie is making it easier than ever to stock up on your must-have lacquers with their latest genius innovation. Starting this month, the brand will roll out nail polish vending machines at airports and malls across the country! Each of Essie’s Color Boutiques will be stocked with a total of 42 shades from the permanent lineup, along with six seasonal colors that will rotate out every time a new collection launches.

You’ll have the option to shop individual hues in case your lacquer gets swiped by the TSA, or if you have a long layover, opt for one of the eight nail art patterns created by the brand, which come with detailed step-by-step instructions.

Stylish vending machines are definitely having a moment—in addition to Essie’s version, we’ve spotted a few Sephora and Proactiv vending machines during our travels, Old Navy stationed flip-flop vending machines around New York and Los Angeles in June, and last year travel-sized beauty retailer 3FLOZ launched automated retail stores in airports around the country. Currently, you can find Essie’s Color Boutiques at the Jet Blue terminal of New York’s JFK airport and the Oakland International Airport, with more set to open next at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, and a few luxury shopping centers in California. We’re loving the idea—after all, an in-airport manicure can make waiting on that delayed flight slightly more tolerable.

See the mani-pedi color combos you have to try this summer!
