To make this more wearable for everyday, we recommend substituting the inky black hue for a subtle grey or brown, and blend the color over your lids and into your crease. Backstage, makeup artists then picked up the Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Eyeliner in Or Blanc ($32; chanel.com) and swept the champagne color along the top lash line, while the Noir Intense shade ($32; chanel.com) was blended along the bottom. The metallic effect was intensified by running a touch of gold shadow from the Intuition palette over the pale liner, and got topped off by a few coats of mascara. Those trademark Delevingne arches were given extra definition with Chanel’s Crayon Sourcils Pencil ($29; chanel.com), and a barely-there nude lip finished the look.
