3 Reasons We’re Psyched for Today’s Release of Apple’s iOS 8

Apple sure knows how to keep a girl on her toes. On the heels of last week’s iPhone 6 and Apple Watch announcements comes the news that you’ll be able to download iOS 8—the newest operating system for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch—today. Here are three reasons why you should upgrade ASAP.

1. Better Photos
Everyone loves a good photo, and the new iOS 8 is making it even easier to make every shot you take a good one.

Built-in editing features allow you to adjust the brightness, exposure, highlights, contrast, and more of each photo you take, plus the smart composition tool will straighten horizons and give you the ideal crop for your photo (perfect for Instagram). And if you’re more into videos, the new operating system also includes a time-lapse video feature.

2. Free Reading Material
Books are great, but free books—that’s even better. When you download iOS 8, you’ll automatically get iBooks, along with a collection of 10 books—all for free!
