What it was like: Always a study in sleek sophistication, spring/summer 2015 in particular was all about structured, long layers fit for the modern woman (Rooney Mara, sitting front row in a white Calvin Klein look, epitomizes this collection’s effortlessly sexy vibe).
The predominantly blue, black, metallic, and white collection was full of innovative fabrics and unexpected pairings. The standout silhouette—dresses worn over skirts—felt fresh and modern thanks to barely-there hair and makeup and absolutely no accessories. Adornment came in the form of chunky patent platforms, some with lucite “bracelets” around the ankle.Why we love this collection: Each look, while intricately constructed, felt incredibly wearable. The sleek, easy separates—made up of tank dresses paired with fluted skirts and light coats layered over light-as-air dresses—are the building blocks for a chic spring wardrobe.
