#TheDress Returns for a Good Cause—and This Time It Really Is White and Gold

First it was all over Tumblr, then it was on Ellen, and now the infamous #TheDress is making its way to eBay. Roman Originals, the U.K.-based label responsible for the blue and black dress that sparked an Internet-wide debate last week, has created a new gold and white version of the dress to be auctioned off for a good cause.

Starting today until March 15, you can head over to ebay.co.uk to place a bid on the one-of-a-kind dress, which will be tailor-made for the highest bidder. “Own the bragging rights of the great debate and own the most talked about dress in the world!” the eBay page reads. The dress will be made with locally sourced materials and will be the only authentic white and gold version in the world.

The current highest bid is at roughly $274 (£180) and 100 percent of the proceeds going to Comic Relief, a charity that aims to tackle poverty and social injustice in the U.K. and around the world. But if you’re still team #blueandblack, fear not—you can order it for $76 (£50) now at romanoriginals.co.uk.
