Earlier this month, Carrie Underwood revealed that she and husband Mike Fisher are expecting their first child together, in one of the most adorable ways possible, and now the mom-to-be is finally sharing details about the pregnancy.
The country singer appeared on the Today show Friday morning, where she spoke about the experience of being pregnant so far.
“It’s still kind of weird, to be honest,” Underwood said. “Sometimes I’ll be with my husband and I’m like, ‘I’m going to be a mom. You’re going to be a dad. Like, is this real life?’ But we’re really excited.”But a new baby isn’t the only exciting thing happening in the future for Underwood: The singer is releasing a greatest hits album on Dec. 9. Greatest Hits: Decade #1 will also include one new song, “Something in the Water,” which will be available this Monday. “It’s really kind of a joyous, uplifting song about changing your life for the better and kind of having that ‘aha’ moment, to waking up and your life being different from that moment forward,” said Underwood, who also revealed the cover of the new album on her Instagram account.
