Three makes a trend, even off the runway. Backstage at the BCBG Max Azria spring/summer 2015 show during New York Fashion Week, we spotted a rising trend in what could potentially become the unofficial uniform among the model crowd—flannel shirts tied low around the waist. (Jared Leto is just one of many stars who have already adopted the look.
)The trio’s off-duty sartorial move is a clear nod to ’90s grunge, but instead of committing to the rocker look in its entirety, they smartly paired their plaid with chic little black dresses or downtown-cool distressed boyfriend jeans. In other words, this is effortless style at its chicest.
At Honor, while there was no flannel in sight, we became completely obsessed with model Leomie Anderson’s look, from head to toe. The 21-year-old Londoner wore a Yeezy tee (knotted and off to the side) with a black high-shine quilted mini and on-trend Nike slides. Love!
