Fresher Than You: Pick Up the Pieces Beyoncé Wears in Her New “7/11” Music Video

Beyoncé, as always, knows how to keep us on our toes. On Friday, a whole four days before her new single “7/11″ was set to be released, Queen Bey dropped a surprise video for her fans—and it is amazing. The video, which appears to have been shot in a hotel room, shows Beyoncé and her dancers having what seems like the best party ever as they dance around their suite and hotel.

Despite the general lack of pants throughout the video (the singer, in most cases, opts for briefs), Beyoncé doesn’t disappoint sartorially. She rocks a seemingly endless parade of sweatshirts with funny sayings across them, as well as some killer statement accessories.

Proving once and for all that kale is, for all intents and purposes, the Beyoncé of vegetables, the singer kicked off her music video in a sweatshirt emblazoned with the greens’ name by Sub_Urban Riot ($48; suburbanriot.com).

The singer quickly debuts another sweatshirt, this time a heather gray one by Mother that says Dropout ($145; revolveclothing.com) which she teams with underwear and a luxe robe.

While dancing in the hallway with her team of backup dancers, Queen Bey dons a black and white Playboy print sweatshirt by Joyrich ($141; joyrichclothing.com) and a pair of statement-making Dita sunnies ($375; dita.com). The singer later wears the same sweatshirt (top) paired with a WXYZ visor crown ($425; wxyzjewelry.com), worn upside down, an oversized Versace lock necklace ($1,925; versace.com), and Jlani bangles ($45 each; jlanijewels.com).

Bey also pays homage to another one of her hit singles, “Yoncé/Partition,” by donning a sweatshirt with the lyrics “cake by the pound” across the front. It’s available on her website ($65; beyonce.com).
