It looks like Katy Perry wasn’t the only star to debut a dramatic hair change at tonight’s Grammys: Zendaya traded her long locks for a fierce pixie cut.

The face of Madonna‘s Material Girl clothing line, who stunned in a colorful Vivienne Westwood number, put her on flirty lashes and killer brows on full display with the super short look.

While the daring style is certainly a jaw dropper, it’s actually only a temporary change. For anyone who’s concerned about the Disney darling getting a little too scissor-happy, her lengthy strands still remain intact—though we think she’d look just as fabulous if it were the real deal.

Either way, if there’s ever a time to play around with your ‘do, music’s biggest night is definitely it!
