The Very Easy DIY for Hannah Davis’s Audrey Hepburn-Inspired Glow

For an evening that’s jokingly been dubbed the “nerd prom,” Hannah Davis certainly stunned at the 2015 White House Correspondents’ Dinner over the weekend. And who did the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl turn to for makeup inspiration? None other than Audrey Hepburn. “I wanted to keep Hannah’s look very fresh and glowy,” makeup artist Vincent Oquendo tells InStyle. “Bronzed, chic, fresh, and sophisticated.”

To lay the groundwork for a healthy glow, Oquendo sloughed away dead skin cells with Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Boosting 5-Minute Facial ($85; elizabetharden.

com) followed by Klorane’s Smoothing and Relaxing Patches ($21; kloraneusa.com) under her eyes.

After perfecting her face with foundation and concealer, he dusted Chanel Mono Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Safari ($30; chanel.com) over the model’s eyelids and lower lash lines. “I finished with the Laura Mercier Eye Glacé Cream Eyeshadow ($28; nordstrom.com) in the lightest platinum tone for the inner corner of the eye,” he says. Once separating every last lash with mascara, he further widened her eyes with a set of false lashes, which he cut in half and applied to the outer corners.

He then relied on Charlotte Tilbury’s Film Star Bronze and Glow ($68; nordstrom.com) to acquire Hepburn’s incandescent complexion. “I used the darker bronze color under her cheekbones and the lighter color on her cheek plane and brow bone to highlight and sculpt,” he says. “Then I finished off the cheeks with Chanel Powder Blush in Jersey ($45; nordstrom.com) on the apples of her cheeks to add a subtle flush under her bronzed glow.”

Of course, when channeling the film and fashion icon, thick, perfectly groomed brows are a must. The pro used Anastasia Brow Wiz in Medium Brown ($21; sephora.com) to fill in sparse areas, followed by a bit of brow gel to keep them neat and in place throughout the night.

To finish off the look, Oquendo went with a subtle pink lip. After filling her pout with Laura Mercier Lip Pencil in Naked ($23; nordstrom.com), he swiped on Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Tinted Lip Balm in Blush ($21; elizabetharden.com).
