While Raven Symone and Ashley Tisdale both shed their Disney darling images long ago, their new hairstyles are further driving that point home and, not to mention, fall in line with two of the hottest spring trends.
In one of the more daring pastel looks we’ve seen yet, Symone celebrated the start of her career as a student by taking her naturally dark hair to a pretty purple tone, which was accented with grey and magenta highlights.
“My last Friday in L.A. before I start my life as an #oncampus student,” she wrote on Instagram. “New hair for a new life!” That’s the spirit! We’ll avoid any overused puns about how her new look is so Raven, but we admit, Symone is definitely a vision in her technicolor crop.Tisdale, on the other hand, is taking on another one of the moment’s hottest hair trends—the lob! The High School Musical alum also took to Instagram to reveal her major chop, and joins Hayden Panettiere, Hilary Duff, and Jennifer Aniston, who are all recent long bob converts.
