Princess Caroline of Monaco’s and Bruce Springsteen’s Daughters Jump for Gucci

At first glance, you might not think Jersey girl Jessica Springsteen and European aristocrat Charlotte Casiraghi have much common. However, aside from being the offspring of royalty—rock royalty, in Jessica’s case (her dad is Bruce Springsteen), and actual royalty for Charlotte (whose mother is Princess Caroline of Monaco and grandmother is the late Grace Kelly), both are champion show jumpers and equestrian brand ambassadors for Gucci.

The house has designed riding collections incorporating the Gucci crest for both equestriennes.

Over the weekend, both Charlotte and Jessica took part in the Gucci Paris Masters, a four-day show jumping competition. For Sunday’s Style and Competition Charity Pro-Am event, which raised money for a NGO Princess Caroline supports, Jessica wore a Mad Max look (above, left), with black leather Gucci pants and a brown suede Gucci jacket. According to her, the theme was mother Patti’s idea. “I’ve never seen the movie,” she said. Charlotte, meanwhile, went for a hip-hop-inspired look (above, right) with blinging necklaces (her horse had some too), headphones (worn over her hard hat), fluorescent crop top, hoodie, and loads of Gucci jewelry.

As well as the theme of their outfits, contestants were allowed to choose the music that played as they completed the course. No word on whether Jessica kept her soundtrack in the family.
