Though we’re in the midst of winter, Jenna Dewan-Tatum‘s makeup from the Hollywood premiere of Jupiter Ascending has us wishing for summer with its glowing, bronzed goddess vibe, which she appropriately paired with a tousled beachy texture. “We decided on a smokey bronze eye and a glossy nude lip to complement her dress, not compete with it,” says her makeup artist Jake Bailey, who also happens to be the pro behind Katy Perry’s Super Bowl look.
Bailey prepped her skin with the Burt’s Bees Renewal Firming Day Lotion ($20; burtsbees.com), and after a layer of the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation ($37; esteelauder.com), he mixed NARS’ Copacabana ($39; nordstrom.com) with Ben Nye’s cream blush in August ($6; bennye.com for locations) and applied the color to the apples of her cheeks. The tawny brown pan in Tom Ford’s Shade & Illuminate Highlighter Duet ($77; nordstrom.com) was then blended into the hollows of Dewan-Tatum’s cheeks to impart a defined contour.RELATED: Jenna Dewan-Tatum’s Makeup From the A&E Upfronts
Armed with NARS Galapagos shadow ($25; nordstrom.com), Bailey worked the soft fawn hue up to the star’s crease, then defined her lashline using the Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil in Zero ($20; sephora.com). He smudged the two colors together to create a slightly smoky effect, and with a dramatic sweep of liquid liner in place, he finished with a few coats of CoverGirl Lash Bloom Mascara ($8; ulta.com). The pink-tinted nude lip served as an understated finishing touch. Bailey applied a layer of the Burt’s Bees Lip Crayon in Sedona Sands ($9; burtsbees.com), and swept the Burt’s Bees Lip Gloss in Fall Foliage ($6; burtsbees.
