The Middle Ages definitely look good on Charlie Hunnam. The first photo of the actor in costume as King Arthur in director Guy Ritchie’s upcoming Knights of the Round Table: King Arthur was just revealed, and he looks as ruggedly handsome as ever.

Richie shared the sneak peek of Hunnam from their first day of shooting on Twitter yesterday (pictured above), which he captioned “First day on KORT.” In the snap, the actor is hard at work on set of the retelling of the legend of Camelot in the U.
K., and he is (sadly) totally covered up in his knightly garb.Aside from Hunnam, the cast of the film includes Eric Bana, Jude Law, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, and Djimon Hounsou. Knights of the Round Table hits theaters July 22, 2016, and we can’t wait to see our favorite Sons of Anarchy star in action.
