Michelle Obama Wore Two Diane von Furstenberg Outfits in One Week!

When it comes to fashion, Michelle Obama has her rotation of favorite designers and we recently saw how much she adores Diane von Furstenberg—when the First Lady donned two DVF ensembles within the same week.

On Sept. 29, Obama spoke at a campaign rally for Mary Burke, a Democratic gubernatorial candidate for Wisconsin, and wore a very feminine DVF peasant blouse and skirt (above, and below at left). The cheery floral prints provided a contrast to her speech, which struck such topics as raising the minimum wage and women’s rights to choosing healthcare options.

Just six days earlier, on Sept. 23, the First Lady wore a colorful DVF wrap dress as she traveled with President Barack Obama via Air Force One. The Obamas headed to New York City, where the president addressed the United Nations General Assembly. Michelle selected a navy, fuchsia, and coral Diane von Furstenberg wrap dress for the occasion (below, right).

As we’ve witnessed in the past, the First Lady looked fab whether she opts for a monochrome look or a vibrant and bold outfit.
