The Web puts answers to every conundrum at your fingertips, but do you really want to seek fashion and beauty counsel from whoever turns up at the top of the page? In a pioneering collaboration with Google, we quizzed the non-virtual pros for answers on the Internet’s most-searched style stumpers.
Enhancing your natural eye color is easy—all you have to do is find a makeup palette that works for you. Score a standout stare with these pro tricks—used on celebrities like Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson, and Reese Witherspoon—for making green, brown, and blue eyes pop.
Green Eyes
Pinky metallics paired with sharp black liner make jade peepers pop. To give Rihanna a killer stare, makeup artist Mylah Morales blended rose gold and taupe shadows, then kicked it up with several layers of mascara and a high-drama cat eye. “I used a pen liner on the top and rimmed the inside of her eyes with black pencil to make her green gaze brighter,” she says.

Brown Eyes
Brown-eyed girls need to befriend a bold blue. Makeup artist Shannon Pezzetta used gold shadow as a shimmering base for Hudson, then added a swipe of bright blue liner for contrast. Or you can drop the gold and “try a rich chocolate shadow for light brown eyes,” she says. “If you have dark eyes, try a lighter brown.”

Blue Eyes
To enhance baby blues, a coppery glow is a surefire bet. “A golden beige can also be pretty,” says makeup artist Mai Quynh, who created this look for The Good Lie actress. She used Laura Mercier’s Fire Glow shadow for the sparkling color, then added soft accents of brown liner and mascara.
