Say that again? On Wednesday Julia Louis-Dreyfus stopped by The Tonight Show to play a round of The Whisper Challenge with host Jimmy Fallon, and things very quickly went south.
Fallon mouthed the words “salted peanuts” and the Veep actress had to guess the phrase without hearing any sound. “Sausage penis!
” Louis-Dreyfus exclaimed, clearly thinking she’d nailed it. She then tried “sausage pizza” for her last guess but lost the round.Next up was the phrase “uptown funk you up,” mouthed by Louis-Dreyfus, which gave Fallon a scare. “You can’t say that!” he said, but he then went on to deduce the correct phrase.

“This is so much fun, I could do this for hours,” Louis-Dreyfus said, perhaps a bit prematurely—Fallon next stumped her with “Hoda Kotb.” But Louis-Dreyfus did get the last laugh: After reading the final card to Fallon, he stumbled with a string of nonsense sounds before following up with “women’s smelly overalls” and “my left wrist, my right wrist.”
Once he discovered that the phrase was “Wipe that smile off your face,” Fallon said, “I can’t ever do that.” That’s why we love him!
