This week in London a new It bag surfaced at the Burberry Prorsum spring/summer 2015 show. The accessory, named the Burberry Bee bag, is part of a collection by Christopher Bailey, Burberry’s chief creative and CEO, titled “The Birds and the Bees.” We first got a peek at the must-have handbag even before the show started as Cara Delevingne (above, left) carried her monogrammed mini (aka the Burberry Mini Bee bag) with her to claim her front row seat for the show—alongside Kate Moss, no less.
On the runway, the perfectly sized top handle bag was shown in an array of colors, some that even incorporate the iconic Burberry plaid print, features gold hardware and buckle latches—and the mini even comes with a cross-body strap. The bags accessorized sheer dresses with ruched or tiered tulle, fitted denim jackets, and artfully printed trenches, all of which were subtle and ladylike.
