The pair stepped out for a date night in Los Angeles this weekend, making their first joint appearance since the birth of their daughter, Esmeralda Amada, in September.

Mendes looked beyond gorgeous (can you believe she gave birth only four months ago?) in a leopard-print shift dress, black and white checkered coat, black wedges, a black clutch, hoop earrings, and an oh-so-chic turban. Her beau looked dapper as well in a black suit worn over a white button-front shirt and paired with white dress shoes.

The new parents were on their way to comedian Don Rickles’s sold-out show at the Saban Theatre and other attendees included Mindy Kaling, Anjelica Huston, John Mayer, and Jimmy Kimmel. It’s safe to say that Mendes and Gosling were probably among the most stylish couples there.
