Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) is back to her normal Gladiator self on last night’s new episode of Scandal, armed with her signature Prada bag in hand. Blackmailed by Cyrus Beene (Jeff Perry), she’s forced to take on a new case for the White House involving Fitz’s stand on gun control. With the help of her old Gladiators, she pulls through at the last moment, just before Fitz gives his State of the Union address.

In this episode, Pope is clad in her classic workwear look, meaning she’s back to business for good. “Because she’s doing this huge favor for the White House, the white hat’s back on,” costume designer Lyn Paolo, told InStyle. “The white Armani jacket represents that she’s back and not on the beach anymore.” She even dons a new jacket from the Pope-inspired Scandal Collection for The Limited! “It was one of our favorites so we wanted to use it as soon as we could,” Paolo said.
