Katy Perry blew everyone away with her Super Bowl 49 halftime performance–there was a robotic lion, dancing palm trees, a Missy Elliot cameo, and so much more. And clearly KP enjoyed her big night as much as the 110 million viewers, as she went straight from the stage to tattoo parlour to have a permanent reminder etched on her finger.

Perry added to her tattoo collection with this year’s Super Bowl Roman numerals: ‘XLIX’ etched on her right ring finger.
She shared two snap of herself getting inked via Instagram,. The first showing her sat opposite her tattoo artist in a cosy leopard faux fur coat (above), with her Super Bowl hair and makeup still intact. She captioned it: “I thought it would be appropriate to draw blood tonight… XLIX”.
She then followed it with a close-up of the the new ink, on the same hand as her cute Hello Kitty etching.
We can’t think of a better way for KP to commemorate such a defining night in her career!
