It’s officially summer when fashion’s perennial favorite little black dress plays second fiddle to its warm-weather counterpart—the little white dress. LWDs are nice in theory, but in reality, they’re higher in maintenance (that pristine white!) and harder to pull off (potentially sheer fabrics!).
But we found 16 instances of stars effortlessly working the crisp (non)color in their everyday lives (read: not styled to perfection on the red carpet).
For starters, Jamie Chung was snapped on a coffee run wearing an eyelet Banana Republic shift that she accessorized with caramel accessories. Olivia Palermo created an hourglass silhouette, cinching her textured number at the waist with a little white belt. Cool shades (a design from her sunglasses collab with Westward Leaning) and summery flats rounded out her ensemble.
