It was girls’ night out for two of Hollywood’s hottest young moms at the Forward by Elyse Walker and David Koma Dinner on Thursday, where Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Ciara both wowed in white-hot ensembles from Koma’s spring 2015 collection.
Jenna, mother to daughter Everly, 22 months, and Ciara, mom to son Future, 10 months, dished on how having a little one at home has changed their style—and both seemed to agree that it has forced them to simplify.

“Becoming a mom has influenced my style tremendously. You really start to understand how you can wear the baggiest T‑shirt and still feel sexy,” Ciara tells InStyle. “When I was pregnant, I was trying to keep it quiet and wore baggy clothes to try and conceal it. And then I started to think it was kind of cool. Now I can wear an oversized T‑shirt and still feel cool and fly.” And Dewan-Tatum also shared the paired-down style notion: “It’s just much more comfortable. It’s much more easy. I just don’t have the time that I used to pick out one outfit! Wearing heels during the day is foreign to me now, and I save the glam for night. Day time is all about being comfortable and easy.”

When it comes to her clothing philosophy, Ciara reveals that motherhod has allowed her to relax. “I don’t overthink things when it comes to fashion as much as I would have before,” Ciara shares. “Now, I just kind of roll with things. And I’m like, whatever feels right, feels right. If you don’t want to do it, don’t do it. Don’t overthink it.”
The intimate dinner—which also included guests Camilla Belle, Gillian Jacobs, Brad Goreski, and more—took place at Soho House in West Hollywood, Calif.
