Judging by the many covetable looks we’ve been seeing on the New York Fashion Week runways, designers have been nailing all the upcoming spring trends with ease—pun intended. Each of the stunning beauty looks are complemented by the creative manicures adorning the models’ digits, and Monique Lhuillier’s French-esque design is among one of our favorites.
We love how it incorporates the traditional pink and neutral color palette with a modern-day effect, not to mention, how the pattern mirrors the clear, lucite heels the designer featured on her runway. To create the look, lead manicurist Gina Edwards began by blending Morgan Taylor’s coral-toned Color Me Bold with the Coming Up Roses hue (morgantaylorlacquer.com for pricing and availability), swiping the lacquer starting at the base. She faded the color to gradually blend into the natural nail, and finished off the design with a clear top coat.In addition to Monique Lhuillier’s gorgeous mani, we rounded up a list of our favorite runway nail art looks so far, ranging from the tame to the ultra-trendy.
