Happy birthday, Oprah! The media mogul turns 61 today. When it comes to career, Oprah has worn many hats: from hosting her own Emmy-winning talk show for more than 20 years, and starting a school for girls in South Africa, to producing the Oscar-nominated film Selma. It’s been a long road for Oprah, who first started out as a morning news anchor and eventually made her transition to film with roles in The Color Purple (which earned Winfrey an Oscar nod) and the critically acclaimed The Butler. Today, we’re toasting to her incredible life, from her high school years (when she confidently rocked peace-sign earrings) to the present.
