Longtime best friends Mandy Moore and Minka Kelly debuted freshly chopped locks this past week, and both opted for a trendy long bob, or lob, for short. Moore and Kelly were eager to show off their ready-for-summer hairdos (which they got by enlisting the help of different hairstylists).
Moore revealed her haircut first by sharing a snap of her new asymmetrical ‘do on Instagram, which she captioned, “Thanks for the bad-ass cut, @gregoryrussellhair!
#summerhair.” Twenty-four hours later, Kelly posted a picture of her own transformation, and wrote, “Sooo @marktownsend1 and I had some fun with the scissors today! #chopchop.” While the actress didn’t go as short as her pal (Moore started with a more even-length bob), she did take quite a few inches off her signature long tresses.See More Photos: Celebrity Lobs We Love
Moore and Kelly are the latest pair to jump on the lob bandwagon, with stars like Hilary Duff, Jennifer Aniston, and Pippa Middleton already on board. We love both of their fresh cuts, but the similar styles have us wondering if this was a hairdo coincidence or a deliberate plan between BFFs!
