These Grammy Stars Prove the Menswear Red Carpet Trend Is Here to Stay

Menswear continues to reign supreme on the 2015 Grammy Awards red carpet. Menswear-inspired styles are always a favorite of the fashion crowd, but the risk factor is diminishing as designers are turning out impeccably tailored and ladylike silhouettes with sexy borrowed-from-the-boys undertones.

Gwen Stefani arrived in a jumpsuit, a shape that is turning out to be a regular on the red carpet (we’re looking at the Lanvin creation Emma Stone wore to the 2015 Golden Globes awards).

Stefani’s Versace number had just the right amount of detail to make the simple one-piece a red carpet ready ensemble. The neckline and sheer bodice added a wow-factor to the look.

The Haim sisters showed us just how impossibly cool menswear-inspired looks can be. Danielle Hiam (pictured at center, center) worked a white suit by Stella McCartney while Alana Haim (pictured at center, right) chose a sleeveless jumpsuit, also by Stella McCartney. Este Haim (pictured at center, left) worked a Chloe number with a sheer hem. Anna Kendrick departed from her usually ultra-fem fashion choices and worked a sexy black suit with nothing underneath.

When Rihanna (above) hit the Grammy Awards stage with Kanye West and Paul McCartney to perform Four Five Seconds, the singer, who first worked the red carpet in an over-the-top voluminous pink gown by Giambattista Valli Haute Couture, wore a chic slouchy suit. Rihanna accented her double-breasted set with a glitzy jewelry and sleek, pulled back hair. Her no-nonsense look was the perfect ensemble to accompany her heart-felt performance.

This is red carpet trend that is here to stay.
