Suede is quickly becoming one of the most coveted textures for fall. In shades of deep blue, forest green, Bordeaux, and dark neutrals, suede separates look especially luxe. To pull it off, look for the key silos for fall: a box shell for layering, a-line skirts, bomber jackets, and tee shirt sleeve dresses.
Hesitant to pick a style? Consider the notion that any piece that would work in a matte leather would also work for suede. You can pair it with boots and a chunky knit à la Vuitton or wear a suede dress for evening (pictured above) with an edgy black heel.Suede is a delicate fabric so opting for darker tones will help give a pricier piece more longevity. There are also strong faux options in the market which can help with the price tag (but look for heavier weight if you’re going faux).
