It was a star studded affair at last night’s amfAR LA Inspiration Gala, where some of the biggest names in Hollywood came out to celebrate and raise funds for AIDS research programs. The man of the night was Tom Ford, who was honored with amfAR’s Award of Inspiration—and Gwyneth Paltrow, Miley Cyrus, and Rihanna all rocked hot-off-the-runway looks from the designer’s sexy spring 2015 collection.

“What’s not to love about Tom Ford?” Rihanna exclaimed on the red carpet, where the singer wowed in a white gown by Ford that included metallic accents, bejeweled pasties, and a high-slit front. “I love the cleavage on this dress,” Cyrus said of her head-turning, skin-baring ensemble that was made up of carefully placed leather strips (and not much else!) and a long black skirt. Paltrow—who acted as host of the event—stunned in a black tailored suit by Ford that featured cutouts at the waist and a plunging neckline, which she paired with dazzling Harry Winston jewels.

“I’m honored to receive this award,” Ford said of being the night’s honoree. “The most inspiring thing for me are the men and women who devote their lives to eradicating HIV/AIDS, and so an inspiration award for me is really for them. To me, this award is all about them.”
Held at Milk Studios in Los Angeles, other celebrity guests included January Jones, Lea Michele, Eddie Redmayne, Camilla Belle, Milla Jovovich, Dita Von Teese, Molly Sims, Ashley Madekwe, Sharon Stone, Alessandra Ambrosio, and more. Presented by MAC Viva Glam and Wells Fargo, the party went well into the night and included a live auction with proceeds benefitting the cause, a beautiful sit-down dinner, and a surprise performance by Coldplay.
