Lena Dunham and Her Girls Go Glam for Season 4’s Premiere

With only five days to go until Girls returns to our screens for a fourth season, leading ladies Lena Dunham, Allison Williams, Zosia Mamet, and Jemima Kirke had cause to celebrate. They toasted the show at the Season 4 premiere party held at New York’s American Museum of Natural History. And of course, all four ladies showed off their stunning, distinctive styles (we’ll take Williams’s dress and Kirke’s ah-mazing heels, please).

Show writer Dunham had undergone a hair overhaul for the night, swapping her platinum shade for a warm chestnut brown. And she wore her glossy new ’do with a quirky striped LBD and chunky patent heels. Her look was also complete with a huge smile—we imagine, the announcement that Girls has been renewed for a fifth season by HBO might have of had something to do with that.

Mamet’s route to red-carpet style was an on-trend skater leather mini in spring 2015’s hottest shade: orange, which she gave a retro finish courtesy of matching satin heels, a wavy vintage blow-dry, feline flicks, and a pop of red lipstick.

Mom-of-two Kirke looked chic in a simple satin gown and some covetable lace-up heels, while Williams looked ladylike in a strapless midnight blue gown with a sheer sparkling skirt.

Judging by this Girls’ night out, all four ladies are going to be ones to watch on the awards season red carpet.
