Brody Is Back! Damian Lewis Is Returning to Showtime in a New Series

Good news Damian Lewis fans. If you were shocked and saddened after (spoiler alert!) Marine Sergeant Nicholas Brody was killed off on Homeland, then this news will make you very happy.

Lewis will be returning to Showtime in another series, Billions, alongside Paul Giamatti, Kerry Condon, and Toby Leonard Moore, Deadline reports.

The pilot will be filmed in New York early this year and directed by Divergent director Neil Burger. The fictional drama takes a close look at the intense world of high finance. Lewis will play an ambitious hedge fund boss and Giamatti will portray a savvy U.S. attorney.

If you need a Brody fix before Billions debuts, you can catch Lewis in the BBC2’s Wolf Hall, a six-part miniseries based on Hilary Mantel’s historical novel that will air in April on PBS. In the show, he plays Henry VIII and drew inspiration for the portrayal from a certain pair of adored royal brothers. Lewis told the U.K.’s The Telegraph that Prince William and Prince Harry influenced him.

“I have actually on occasion found myself thinking about Wills and Harry; wanting to normalize your life as much as possible,” he said. “I see in Henry a desire for normality, and as he started to lose his waistline and lose his athleticism, he surrounded himself with what can only be described as a Bullingdon Club of handsome men who were 10 years younger than him,” he said
