Get ready New York City, H&M’s new flagship store in going to be huge. The world biggest H&M opens today at Fifth Avenue and 48th Street in Manhattan, coming in at a whopping 57,000 square feet—which is roughly the size of a football field. It’s go big or go home for H&M!

1. The location will carry every product H&M makes
The new store will carry all the retailer’s product categories under one roof for the first time ever in the United States, and will include men’s and women’s sportswear and ready-to-wear, lingerie, underwear, accessories, children’s wear, newborn apparel, special sizes, maternity apparel, cosmetics, and the home collection.
2. This will be their most upscale store in the world
The flagship is H&M’s fanciest story to date, with luxe features like white marble walls, dark wood herringbone floors, mirrored walls, modern chandeliers, leather furniture, and tufted-fabric walls in the fitting rooms. It will be H&M like we’ve never seen it before.
3. Two words: Shoe lounge
No longer will you have to search the entire store for a pair of shoes, they will be nicely displayed in the flagship’s shoe lounge. Not only does this make shopping easier, but it also means they will carry additional shoe styles not sold at other locations.
4. A free personal shopping service will be available
This store has the first ever style-adviser service in the chain. The personal-shopperlike service is available at no charge to any customer—all you have to do is make an appointment.
5. The fourth floor is dedicated to H&M’s home collection
We’ve long-awaited being able to shop the brand’s home goods in person in New York City, and this location will make it possible. From silverware to throw pillows, you can deck out your home in trendy and affordable items from the retailer.
