A quick scan of the singer’s Instagram feed will reveal one star-studded bake fest after another, with featured members of her inner circle including (but definitely not limited to): Karlie Kloss, Lena Dunham, Emma Stone, Lorde, Jaime King, the list really does go on.

So when we bumped into the three sisters at H&M’s Coachella Party at The Parker Hotel in Palm Springs, we had to ask: How did the new quartet cement their BFF status? “It happened super randomly over a dinner,” Alana Haim told InStyle. “We contacted each other, and we took her out to our favorite restaurant in Silver Lake called Stella. I thought it was only going to be an hour, but it lasted seven hours.” What exactly went down at that dinner, we may never know, but we do know that laughs were had by all. “She took us on a LOL-lercoaster,” big sis Este added. “LOLs for days.”
