It looks like Taylor Swift can add another trophy to her shelf of accomplishments: The singer has just been crowned IFPI’s Global Recording Artist of the Year. The annual award honors the year’s top artist across physical sales, downloads, and streaming worldwide and the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry surprised Swift with the accolade yesterday.

The superstar has more than earned her new title—Swift released her fifth album 1989 in October 2014, and it has since sold more than 8.6 million copies worldwide and spent 11 nonconsecutive weeks atop the Billboard 200 chart. 1989 also produced multiple mega-hit singles, including “Shake It Off” and “Blank Space” that both hit No. 1 on the Hot 100.
With a Kanye West collaboration in the works and a steamy new music video for “Style” that recently debuted, we can only expect more great things from Swift in the future.
