The 2015 Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet was filled with shades of purple ranging from lavender to the deep plum.
A pregnant Keira Knightley (above, left) chose a dark purple peplum gown with eyelet detail by Erdem for her walk down the red carpet while Camila Alves (above, right) also chose a moody shade, opting for a plush velvet mermaid style by Donna Karan Atelier complete with a dramatic sash.
On the other end of the spectrum, Amanda Peet (above, center), who gave birth to her third child just six weeks ago, showed up in a floatly J. Mendel column with black colorblock detailing.RELATED: All the Looks from the 2015 Screen Actors Guild Awards
What makes these three looks stand together, beyond their color, is the overall feminine vibe with sexy undertones. Knightly is perfectly covered up and ladylike with her sheer neckline, Alves brought the drama with a curve-hugging silhouette, and Peet merges modern colorblocking with the timelessness of soft plissé pleats. All looks are winners in our book!
