Helmut Lang’s Fragrances Are Getting a Chic Reboot

Get a whiff of this: Helmut Lang‘s trio of fragrances are back with a brand new look! Initially launched in the early aughts, the label kicked off year 2000 by rolling out both the Helmut Lang Eau de Parfum and the Eau de Cologne. The Cuiron scent followed suit in 2002, only for all three fragrances to be discontinued in 2005.

To celebrate the return of the trinity in style, the label gave each perfume a modern day makeover. Swapping out the old-school flacons, each of the bottles now come in a massive 3.3 oz. size with a sleek, streamlined shape and a shiny black cap.

If you were a fan of the notes used in the original versions, you’re in luck. The formula remains the same one you fell in love with years ago at the perfume counter. Both the Eau de Parfum and Eau de Cologne open with floral elements like rosemary, orange tree and lavender, while heady wood, amber, patchouli and vanilla notes add a touch of warmth. “It’s sensual, but in a very refined way,” perfumer Maurice Roucel tells WWD. Cuiron draws upon the idea of worn-in leather, incorporating suede, wood notes, bergamot and pink peppercorn to mirror the material. Shop each of the scents now, priced from $165 to $185 each on helmutlang.com!
