Watch Matthew Broderick Reenact a Famous Scene from Ferris Bueller—with Rapper T.I.

The classic 1986 comedy Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is one that should never get a remake, considering it’s perfect in all of its ’80s glory. But, we must say, an updated version with original star Matthew Broderick and rapper T.I. is something we never knew we needed until Monday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.

The actor was a guest on the show—alongside self-proclaimed Ferris Bueller fan T.

I.—and participated in host Andy Cohen’s segment Clubhouse Playhouse, in which stars reenact famous movie moments. Broderick, of course, reprised his role as the iconic school-skipper Ferris Bueller, while T.I. took over Alan Ruck’s duties as anxious sidekick Cameron Frye. The due took on the scene in which Cameron’s father’s ill-fated Ferrari is introduced.

We don’t know what’s funnier, T.I. sporting a Cameron Frye–inspired newsboy cap or Broderick not understanding the word “ish.” Watching these two read dialogue together is a buddy comedy in and of itself—check it out for yourself:
